Guests, for the past seven years, have been experiencing the tranquillity of the bed & breakfast accommodation at El Ciruelo which offers just the right balance of rural character laced with rustic charm and a warm friendly welcome.

El Ciruelo is a large farmhouse, with over two hundred years of history, typifying the traditional architecture of rural Andalucía. Fully renovated to a high standard the cortijo is ideally situated for the provision of comfortable guesthouse accommodation for those who choose to explore this beautiful region of Almeria.

The B&B sits in a secluded location in the foothills of the outstandingly beautiful Sierra de Maria National
Park and enjoys stunning 360° panoramic views replete with mature pine forests, almond groves and craggy mountains criss-crossed with tracks making this a walker's paradise and an oasis for nature lovers.

Within the region of Almeria known as Los Vélez, the guesthouse is just 3Km off the A92N, approached through almond groves.

The nearest towns are Chirivel (10Km), Vélez Rubio (14Km) and Vélez Blanco (20Km).

These are typical of the smaller towns found in Andalucía with beautiful churches, striking castles and fascinating Moorish ruins.
